Alamar Park is a beautiful 40-acre community park located in the City of Avondale in the southwest valley of Phoenix. This park is another park that would make it on my list of one of the best parks in the City of Phoenix surrounding areas.
Alamar Park is located in the master planned community of Alamar in the south part of Avondale about four miles from the 10-freeway. This park was definitely designed with families in mind and the park’s designers seemed to think of everything based on all of the amenities found at this recreational paradise.
The amenities at Alamar Park Avondale include 2 baseball/softball fields, multiuse fields, basketball courts, 3 playgrounds, a splash pad, a dog park, an Amphitheater, a large fishing lake, an outdoor fitness court, and of course both tennis courts and pickleball courts. That should be enough to keep anyone busy for as long as you might want to stay at this wonderful park.

How Many Pickleball Courts Are at Alamar Park?
The Alamar Park pickleball courts consist of four courts that are in great condition and make a very nice place to play for those in the area.
Word from the local pickleball community is that these courts draw a nice crowd of players in the weekday mornings and evenings as well as the weekends like most facilities. The City of Avondale also hosts pickleball leagues at both Alamar Park and another park in the area so the pickleball courts at Alamar Park are certainly busy.
