Our goal is to share details about public pickleball courts in and around the Phoenix area, where any pickleball player can play with no fees or memberships required to play.
The first thing that sticks out to me about Deem Hills Park is that this Park is a big time drive to get to. If you don’t live in the immediate or surrounding areas, odds are you will never see the very nice pickleball courts at this wonderful park.
Deem Hills Park is located at the rear of a very nice community which you must drive through before you arrive at the main entrance to the park. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I made it to the edge of the community, but I was pleasantly surprised by this small, but very nice community park.
The playground and other park amenities seemed new and in very good shape, including the pickleball courts which I learned were added to this park in 2021.
The amenities at Deem Hills Park, which is also sometimes referred to as Deem Hills Community Park include two lighted sports fields, one lighted basketball, volleyball, and tennis court, a very nice and well-appointed playground, ramadas, grills, and of course, the pickleball courts.

How Many Pickleball Courts Are at Deem Hills Park?
The Deem Hills Park pickleball courts have two outdoor dedicated courts with permanent lines and lights to enable evening play.
These courts are relatively new, and they are in great shape from what I could see on my visit to the park. Because of the location of this park, I am sure it draws virtually all locals from the surrounding area, so I don’t see these courts being too busy for open play.
There is plenty of parking at Deem Hills Park located right next to the pickleball courts. And there are restrooms not far from the courts just a short walk past the playground.
