Festival Fields Park went through a major renovation and refresh in 2020 that upgraded the facilities and earned the park the Outstanding Facility of the Year Award by the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association.
Festival Fields Park is located just south of the I-10 freeway on the west side of Avondale just off Lower Buckeye Road and near Litchfield Road. The park is Avondale’s second largest park at 45-acres following the 2020 expansion.
The amenities at Festival Fields Park in Avondale include 4 softball fields, 2 Little League baseball fields, multi-use fields, 2 basketball courts, 3 playgrounds, a splash pad, a dog park, a skate park, a community fishing pond, multiple picnic ramadas as well as a large group ramada, and of course the pickleball courts. With all the recreational amenities available at this facility, the City of Avondale has truly created the perfect gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
