Harelson Park Pickleball Courts

Our goal is to share details about public pickleball courts in and around the Phoenix area, where any pickleball player can play with no fees or memberships required to play.

Harelson Park is an 11.2 acre neighborhood park tucked in to the community of Warner Ranch off of Warner Road in Tempe.  The park is popular for its wide-open spaces and large selection of amenities for most any athletic and active interest.

The amenities at Harelson Park include basketball courts, a playground, soccer field, tennis courts, and of course pickleball courts.

How Many Pickleball Courts are at Harelson Park?

Harelson Park has 4 non-dedicated pickleball courts that are located on one of the two tennis courts at the park.  The pickleball court lines are striped on the tennis court and the nets are placed as you would expect in the center of each court.

The pickleball courts at Harelson Park are lighted for evening play and I don’t think these courts are nearly as busy as the courts at Tempe Sports Complex not too far away.

As mentioned earlier, these Tempe AZ pickleball courts are tucked into a community and surrounded in close proximity by the homes in the area.  Having never played at this park, I wonder if noise from the courts has ever been a problem in the evening?

Either way, I thought the courts were very nice and in good shape if you don’t mind playing on non-dedicated courts.
