Our goal is to share details about public pickleball courts in and around the Phoenix area, where any pickleball player can play with no fees or memberships required to play.

Horizon Park Scottsdale is a wonderful 24-acre park located east of the 101 freeway just off Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd.  Horizon Park is conveniently located for residents in the North area of Scottsdale and the park is very busy due to the many amenities present at the park.

The amenities at Horizon Park Scottsdale include a large community center featuring a recreation room, teen center, several classrooms as well as multi-purpose rooms. 

The actual park features four softball fields, three basketball courts, five sand volleyball courts, two playgrounds, a dog park, and of course the pickleball courts.  With so many facilities to choose from it’s understandable why this park is a favorite for those living in the area.

How Many Pickleball Courts Are at Horizon Park?

The Horizon Park pickleball facility includes 10 outdoor dedicated courts that stay busy during peak playing hours in the morning and evenings. 

The pickleball courts at Horizon Park draw players from every level of play, but the park is known for drawing quite a few players that hover in the 4.0 to 4.5 range.  So, if you are in the area and you are looking for some competitive play, the pickleball courts at Horizon Park would be a good place to visit.
