Our goal is to share details about public pickleball courts in and around the Phoenix area, where any pickleball player can play with no fees or memberships required to play.
Paloma Community Park is a beautiful 85-acre park located on the very northern edge of Peoria right off Lake Pleasant Parkway on the way to Lake Pleasant. This park is one of the nicest parks I have visited on my tour of all the pickleball courts in the Phoenix area. You will enjoy playing here if you make the trip.
The only thing I didn’t understand about the pickleball courts at Paloma Community Park is why did the City of Peoria build so few pickleball courts given there is so much open space to work with? There is plenty of room for many more courts at the Paloma Park pickleball facility and I know the local residents are actively engaged with the city to try and get more planned and built.
The amenities at Paloma Community Park are almost too numerous to mention but I can share there is a lighted ball field complex, lighted multi-purpose fields, a wonderful fishing lake, a very nice playground and splash pad, picnic ramadas, lighted dog park, and multiple restroom buildings around the park. There is truly something for everyone at this community park.
How Many Pickleball Courts Are at Paloma Community Park?
The Paloma Community Park pickleball courts complex includes 4 outdoor dedicated courts that leave residents and locals wanting more due to how busy these courts have been known to get.
While there are other pickleball courts in Peoria, this is unofficially the “pickleball hub” of Peoria due to both the quality of courts at this location and the fact that Paloma Park has the largest number of pickleball courts in one facility in all of Peoria.
I have heard that several of the more serious pickleball players in Peoria will sometimes make the drive over to Surprise Community Park on the weekends to play there given they have 16 courts at the Surprise pickleball facility.

If there are additional public pickleball courts in the area that we might have missed, please let us know by leaving a comment on our Facebook page or sending us an email directly. We will try to visit the courts and add them to our Phoenix pickleball courts directory as long as they are open to the public for anyone to play.
