Our goal is to share details about public pickleball courts in and around the Phoenix area, where any pickleball player can play with no fees or memberships required to play.
Roadrunner Park Phoenix is located in the central – north area of Phoenix just off the 51 freeway near Cactus Rd. This park is similar to G.R. Herberger park in that it is located in the City of Phoenix but it is only a couple of miles from Scottsdale so you will find residents and locals from both of these areas playing on these pickleball courts.
Roadrunner Park Phoenix is a mid-size park neatly tucked in to a community just off the freeway. The park features a number of amenities including baseball fields, basketball courts, a fishing pond, a playground with shade structure, sand volleyball courts, a pool and tennis courts.
There is really just about something for everyone at this park in Phoenix. And if you are playing pickleball at the park on a Saturday morning, make sure to stick around for the popular Roadrunner Park Farmers Market held every Saturday morning near the parking lot facing Cactus Road.
