How Many Pickleball Courts Are at Tumbleweed Park?

Pickleball courts at Tumbleweed Park

There are 18 dedicated pickleball courts at Tumbleweed Park, and that number tells you everything about the scale of this facility.  I visited and was genuinely impressed by the condition of the courts and the thoughtfulness of the overall layout.  With 18 courts, there is plenty of room to spread out, and the areas between courts are well shaded, giving waiting players a comfortable spot to stay out of the Arizona sun between games.

That said, this facility is popular, and deservedly so.  During prime morning and evening playing hours, wait times can run 30 to 40 minutes per game at the busiest times.  Come prepared to be patient, or plan your visit outside of peak hours if you prefer a shorter wait.  Plenty of paddle racks are available throughout the facility so you can paddle up and get in the rotation while you wait.

The courts and the surrounding facility are well lit for evening play, making Tumbleweed a viable option year-round even during the brutal Arizona summer months when morning and evening sessions are the only comfortable windows to play.
